We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, build, automate, and optimize our cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD, GitOps, service mesh, observability, and secure workflow orchestration. This role requires strong hands-on engineering capability, automation mindset, and experience working in large-scale production environments.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Kubernetes Engineering (AWS/EKS)
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain EKS clusters, including node groups, autoscaling, upgrade strategies, cluster add-ons, and lifecycle management.
- Configure and manage networking components such as VPCs, subnets, NAT, security groups, network policies, and load balancers.
- Implement and manage Ingress controllers (NGINX/Istio) and service mesh for secure traffic routing.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance for cloud-native applications.
CI/CD & GitOps Automation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Implement ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery and configuration management.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS) cluster management and production operations.
- Experience with Ingress controllers, service mesh technologies (NGINX/Istio), and cloud networking.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline development skills; experience with ArgoCD is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of HashiCorp Vault for secret management.
- Experience working with Argo Workflows for pipeline orchestration.
- Strong background in observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger.
- Good understanding of containers, microservices architecture, and automation best practices.
- Scripting experience in Bash/Python and familiarity with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident-management skills.
