We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong foundation in business analysis and a
background in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, skilled
in visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and experienced in working on cloud
platforms such as AWS or GCP. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and
developers to transform healthcare data into actionable insights that drive business
decisions.
Key Responsibilities
•Understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
•Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, particularly
in the healthcare domain (e.g., claims, EMR, patient records, provider data).
•Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to gather and
clarify data and reporting needs.
•Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases.
•Build intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
•Present data findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Document business rules, KPIs, and data logic for analytics solutions.
•Support cloud- based data analysis projects on AWS or GCP using services like BigQuery, Redshift, Athena, etc.
•Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity through validation and profiling.
Required Skills
•Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare data (payer/provider,
claims, EHR, HL7/FHIR, etc.).
•SQL: Proficient in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and data
transformations.
•Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau or Power BI to create dashboards,
reports, and drill-down visuals.
•Business Analysis: Skilled in requirement gathering, stakeholder management,
functional documentation, and gap analysis.
•Cloud Platforms: Familiar with data services in GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow) or AWS
(Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena).
•ETL/ELT Understanding: Awareness of data pipelins and data ingestion best practices.
