Job Description- Power BI -Financial Dashboard
Additional Responsibilities – Financial Dashboard Focus
• Design, build, and manage financial dashboards that provide insights into
revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to define KPIs and metrics such
as EBITDA, operating margin, gross profit, ROI, and variance analysis.
• Build models to support month-end close, budget vs. actuals, cost center
analysis, and financial planning dashboards.
• Automate data integration from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite,
QuickBooks) and finance data marts into Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy and audit compliance, with strong version control and
change tracking in sensitive financial reporting.
• Apply time-intelligence functions in DAX to create YTD, QTD, MoM, YoY trends,
rolling averages, and cumulative financial summaries.
• Build multi-level drilldowns to analyse data across departments, regions, and
timeframes for executive-level consumption.
• Implement dynamic filters and slicers for flexible report navigation and
enhanced user experience in finance reviews.
• Partner with leadership to visualize scenario analysis and what-if simulations
for strategic decision-making.
Preferred Domain Expertise (Finance)
• Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Familiarity with CAPEX/OPEX reporting, cost allocation models, and financial
compliance regulations (e.g., SOX).
• Experience working with FP&A teams or within corporate finance environments.
• Knowledge of financial data sensitivity and data governance best practices.
